Since 2005, our company, Smart Tutors, has provided friendly, private lessons to smart students. We are a small, experienced group of teachers providing English Language Arts (ELA) 10, 20 or ELA 30 to high school student, (specializing in essay writing, Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello and other plays by Shakespeare and other novels), as well as private instruction in ESL (accent reduction to speak English like a Canadian, eh!). Private lessons are in Acadia (SE, near Chinook Mall and Ikea). Call now for free telephone assessment of your child or a customized, private classes.
If you want to know how we started, Troy began doing linguist work in the 90's in Africa, where he lived for seven years, and returned to Canada to start working with foreign engineers and architects to improve their English speaking and writing skills. This work quickly expanded to tutoring students in high school English (essay writing, novels, Hamlet, Macbeth, etc.). The rest is history :-)
